Building Respectful Relationships

This package of resources includes a set of teaching and learning activities for delivery to students in Years 8 , 9 and 10. It aims to educate young people about the impact of gender-based violence and focuses on the key themes of gender, respect, violence and power. These resources should be delivered in conjunction with Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships - teaching and learning materials that cover eight social and emotional learning topics. The content of these two packages are complementary, and when delivered together give students in Years 8-10 comprehensive skills and knowledge around help seeking, problem solving, emotional literacy, as well as gender, power and respect.
