Promising Practices in Building Resilience of Education Ecosystems
In August 2023, USAID’s Leading Through Learning Global Platform (LTLGP) consulted education stakeholders in Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) for regional insight into the promising practices that emerged from earlier research on COVID-19 and education. This brief, Promising Practices in Building Resilience of Education Ecosystems, summarizes the findings from these regional-focused consultations.
Participants identified practices that resonated with them as well as gaps in the research and offered recommendations for building resiliency across education ecosystems in their regions. Recommendations focus on the need for inclusive and equitable policies and practices and sustainable change, including equitable financing, adaptable community-driven solutions, better measurement of impact, and prioritizing social and emotional well-being.
