Findings and Recommendations Regarding the Rollout of the Moroccan Bachelor of Arts (BA) University Reform
This report provides an analysis of the proposed Moroccan University Reforms. More specifically the report reflects on the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and foundation year reform and its objectives with a focus on study skills and soft skills, English language instruction, general education, and assessment. Given challenges with the effective adoption of past university reforms, this document also reflects on change management issues. Each section, of the report, reviews the proposed reform plan and provides reflections on how this relates to the reform’s objectives. The report provides a series of recommendations and proposes a modified curricular structure for the foundation year. Throughout the report and in particular, in the recommendations and resources section, we provide examples and links to resources that could be helpful when considering options and planning reform implementation.
