12 Years of Quality Education for All Girls
A Commonwealth Perspective
This report, 12 Years of Quality Education for All Girls: A Commonwealth Perspective, brings together the latest evidence to provide an up to date picture of girls’ education across the 53 countries of the Commonwealth. Published to support the Platform for Girls’ Education, a group of influential Commonwealth figures set up to drive progress on achieving gender equality and a truly level playing field in education, the report charts girls’ current access to education and learning, and identifies barriers and evidence on interventions to overcome them. The study, produced by education and development experts in the REAL Center at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge, also explores trends in domestic and aid funding to support the global commitment to 12 years of quality education for all girls.
