The USAID Higher Education #FailFest on Employability on April 25, 2023
About the event
How can higher education institutions ensure that higher education graduates develop the skills needed to succeed in the modern labor market? Join the USAID Higher Education Learning Network (HELN) Tuesday, April 25 to learn about the challenges of supporting higher education students’ transition to the workforce.
Presenters will share their struggles in managing institutional and government bureaucracy, planning without access to labor market and alumni data, and working toward programmatic goals in stagnant economies. #FailFest stories will spotlight innovative approaches to curriculum, program management, and employer partnerships from programs in the Philippines, Malawi, Jordan, Bahrain, Ghana, and Chile.
About #FailFest
Failure is a natural byproduct of risk-taking and innovation. A #FailFest event can generate new approaches to common challenges. These events are typified by short presentations on what went wrong, and what might improve practices.
