How Can Non-state Actors Drive Equity in Education in Low- And Middle-Income Countries?
This webinar is the programming kick-off of the new Non-State Education Community of Practice: the Education Finance Network.
The Education Finance Network convenes diverse education stakeholders with a focus on directing non-state resources toward creating inclusive, high-quality education in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) globally.
This event marks the start of the Education Finance Network programming activities, which will include global and regional events, evidence and knowledge sharing, networking, professional development and more.
Speakers from Kaizenvest, the Higherlife Foundation and the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) will engage with the question: How can non-state actors drive equity in education in low- and middle-income countries?
The event aims to:
- Discuss the role of non-state actors in education, and in driving quality in education in a global context, focusing on South-South sharing of best practices.
- Bring funders and ecosystem actors into conversation with practitioners.
- Spotlight the challenges faced in the space and the need for collective action towards more productive engagement with LMIC governments.
This 90-minute webinar is scheduled on Thursday, April 7, at 9am EDT / 2:00pm BST / 4:00pm EAT / 6:30pm IST.
