Equity and Access HELN Networking Event

Join members of the USAID Higher Education Learning Network (HELN) in an informal networking event on March 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. EST/3 p.m. UTC!
The final event in the HELN Access and Equity Web Event Series will engage members and other higher education stakeholders in conversations about how to support equitable access to higher education for marginalized populations, including women, indigenous populations, and people with disabilities. We will highlight promising practices and discuss various topics such as scholarships, women’s access to higher education, equity and access to higher education for marginalized and underrepresented groups, and inclusion and disability.
Why Should I Participate?
This event will include large and small groups for individuals to connect with each other and share programs and/or research on this topic, workshop ideas, brainstorm new activities, and learn from successes and failures in promoting equitable access to higher education. This is an opportunity to meet HELN members from around the world and make connections.
It is important to the HELN that a broad array of perspectives are represented in this conversation. Therefore, we especially encourage registration from those members based outside of the U.S.
Register soon, as we have a limited number of seats available. Registration indicates that you will be participating in the networking event.
About the Series
This is the final event in the HELN Access and Equity Web Series. In the first two events, Stories of Inclusive Access to Higher Education and Localizing Evidence in Women’s Access to Higher Education: A Knowledge Generation Event, participants had the opportunity to learn from inspiring stories, share their experiences, and contribute content to a co-created regionally-contextualized learning document connected to the USAID Expanding Women’s Access to Higher Education Primer.
