EdTech and COVID-19: Lessons Learned, Future Plans
COVID-19 has reshaped our world. A year since schools shut their doors EdTech Hub are running a series of events to reflect on the pandemic, school closures and how these lessons can prepare us for an uncertain future.
The event will begin with opening remarks from Sierra Leone’s Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, David Sengeh, followed by a discussion between a panel of experts including Ranjitsinh Disale - Global Teacher Prizewinner 2020 and Albert Nsengiyumva, Executive Secretary of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) chaired by Susan Nicolai, EdTech Hub Research Director. More speakers to be announced soon.
This event will launch EdTech Hub's latest flagship publication ‘10 things you need to know about Covid-19 and EdTech’. This publication has been designed to be user-centred and easily accessible to those making decisions about EdTech in education systems. The publication is in both a brief and video format.
