Paying for Outcomes in Youth Workforce Development
This webinar is the first global meeting of the new Non-State Education Community of Practice: the Education Finance Network.
The Education Finance Network convenes diverse education stakeholders with a focus on directing non-state resources toward creating inclusive, high-quality education in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) globally.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Dayoung Lee, Dalberg’s Associate Partner with expertise in Education to Employment. This conversation aims to bring together the evidence-based perspective of a researcher on the subject; as well as insights from practitioners on how to establish impact bonds, income share agreements and outcome funds focused on Workforce Development.
The event aims to:
- Discuss the recommendations to consider when designing RbF interventions targeting outcomes in workforce development;
- Understand how RbF can support learning outcomes by going beyond inputs and focusing on learnings and entry into employment;
- Share lessons on establishing successful impact bonds, outcome funds and income share agreements, targeting workforce development;
- Explore the need for collective action towards more productive engagement with governments from low and middle income countries;
This 60-minute webinar is scheduled on Thursday, May 19, at 9:00am EDT / 2:00pm BST / 4:00pm EAT / 6:30pm IST.
