Julie Cram Appointed as Senior Coordinator of United States International Basic Education Assistance

The President announced Julie Cram’s appointment as Senior Coordinator of United States International Basic Education Assistance. Julie also serves as Deputy Assistant Administrator in the Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and Environment, where her portfolio includes the Office of Education and Local Sustainability. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the development of a comprehensive U.S. Government Strategy on Basic Education, as mandated by The READ Act.
