Technical Vocational Education Strengthening for At-Risk Youth (TVET-SAY)
This activity contributes to the improvement in quality and access to technical vocational education training (TVET) programs for at-risk youth in Nicaragua, increasing alignment between supply and demand in the labor market. The activity targets technical vocational education and training institutions that focus on two youth target populations. The first target is at-risk youth with the minimum education requirements to receive government-certified technical degrees and gain formal employment. The second target is at-risk youth who do not meet those requirements, but show potential for self-employment or commitment to addressing product and service needs in their communities.
