Schools for a Knowledge Economy Project (SKEP)
This activity supports improvements in the quality of and access to basic education in Jordan with the construction of 25 new schools. School construction is nationwide, with a focus on those located in host communities where Syrian refugees have dramatically increased school enrollment figures. The new schools are built with modern facilities, such as science labs and computer labs, and many new classrooms are outfitted with IT equipment. This activity aims to improve quality of education services and to equip youth with employability and life skills.
