Local Capacity Development Program

This activity provides capacity building support to approximately 60 local civil society organizations and host-government partners. It will help transform these organizations into long-term, viable USAID partners and directly support building a stronger Ethiopian civil society. The activity has conducted diagnostic assessments and created capacity development plans for each organization, and will continue to provide training and technical assistance to improve the institutional fitness of each partner. Technical assistance is tailored to current and new partners, focusing on financial and project management skills, including monitoring and evaluation.
